National Rental Car - Seats 8

I rented a full size SUV from National Rent A Car. It says it is a dodge durango or similiar and seats 8 people. Has anyone rented this type of car (SUV) from National in Orlando, FL? What type of car was it and did it seat 8? I thought the most Durango's seated were seven. No I am worried, either we wll get a durango which seats seven or some other type of car??

I am just wondering because if I think it is going to be a problem I will kick down the extra money and rent an expedition from someo of the other rental car places. National was the cheapest for this type of car.

I can't vouch if National has Durangos that seat 8, but even if they did I'd be concerned that you'll have enough room to get in those 8 people and luggage for those 8 people.

I checked Dodge's website. http://www.dodge.com/durango/interior.html It says the Durango seats 7. Sometimes the rental companies list vehicles as similar too. You may want to call the rental company to double check exactly what vehicle and passenger seating. Pixie Dust to you that it works out.

We rented the full-size SUV last July. It was a Durango, and I think it sat 7. The one we had, it had the third row seat folded down, and since there were only 4 of us, we didn't need it. However, there would have been no way we would have fit our luggage in it had we needed to use that third row.

I wondered about the luggage too! When we have a large group we just rent 2 cars. This works great for us, because the kids like going elsewhere and have their own transportation. When my youngest daughter rented a car for the time in WDW (after turning 25), she said, she'll never take the bus again. We have 2 full size cars reserved for 9 days in September for $131 each.

I just booked the Full Size SUV for our Disney trip next year. I'll be anxious to hear if anyone gets anything other than a Durango.
