Best quote I can come up with through National for July 11 - 16 on an intermediate car, using the Priceless Vacations discount code, is $275.97. That just sounds like WAY too much. Am I doing something wrong??

That does seem really high! When I entered your dates with the priceless code and the WWEB Product rate code, I come up with $248.11, not so much better.

We're paying $150 for a full size for a week in Sept, using the priceless code & entertainment coupon, so I can't image why yours is so much! Hopefully it will come down if you keep trying.

Your rental is soooo high because you are only renting for 5 days. The daily rate is always much higher than the weekly.

I tried running your dates (but for July 11 - 18 - 1 week rental) with discounts and the amount isn't any better. It must be peak rental time. Keep checking.

Keep checking. My reservation for last week started at $196 when I first made it in February. I cancelled 4 times due to price drops, ending up paying $119.

I am going July 7-12 and I got a bettre rate using the wweb and the carlson code I also had a entertainment book coupon my rate is 154.46 using the pricless code the best rate I got was 224.00

That does seem rather high. I have an intermediate reserved with the Calrson code and entertainment coupon for July 10-21 and it is $302. That is not much more than you were quoted for 5 days.

This seems high to me as well. When I run these dates with the Priceless Vacations and Entertainment Book codes, the National web sites quotes on a 5-day rental rather than a weekly rate. I also tried using the Emerald Club code and it still quotes a 5-day rate rather than a weekly rate. I wonder if this is a consequence of no Saturday night stay during the rental period? It's the first time I've seen this with National.
