National Kidney Foundation Run?

I talked my friend into doing the Princess 5K with me March 7th. I love Disney, she loves 5K's, the perfect match.

My friend had a liver transplant about 8 years ago, and is very active in the transplant games and various other related events. She just told me yesterday that the NKF was having their 5K at Walt Disney World on March 8th. I told her that seemed unlikely, since that's the date of the Princess 1/2 Marathon, but she insists that's the date and the place.

Has anyone heard anything about this? I can find no mention of it online.

We did it this past March but haven't seen any dates for 2009 yet.

I doubt it will be March 7, 2009(it was Mrch 8 in 2008). The Princess 5K is being run throug EPCOT( like NFKK) so I would expect it to be moved to another race date.

Disney did this to the Race for the Cure starting last year. It was the day before the Race for the Taste 10K and many people did both races. Disney made them move to Sept after Disney created ToT. This year it is back in Oct but the week before. Now 3 different race weekends in October.
