I just wanted to publicly commend National for their excellent internet customer service.
I had a great rate for a rental (7 days intermediate for $104) and when I went to modify the reservation I accidentally cancelled instead. When I tried to rebook the new rate was much higher. I emailed them and within 24hrs I got a very nice response, and my reservation at the same great rate.
I'm an Emerald Club member, I don't know if that made any difference or not...
