i can't seem to find the thread and i know it's been asked many a times, so just one more time i just signed up for the emerald club with national. made my reservations. confirmations says "emerald club counter". i thought i can bypass the counter with the emerald club????

oh, and does anyone know what the CCC is like at 7am on a monday??

Did you choose a mid size car? Emerald Aisle is only for that category. If you choose another category you cannot pick from the Aisle.

If you're picking up your car at the Car Care Center, there is no Emerald Aisle/Emerald Club service available there.

We're also picking up our car (a van) at the CCC and we're EC members. Our reservation also says counter for level of service. When we pick up at MCO we always use EA or Emerald Reserve and just go straight to car. However, I don't think the CCC will have the number of people at the counter MCO usually does so I'm not concerned about it. However, the coupon discounts are now available on the National website for after January 1. I got $20 off earlier today, and just got an email with an offer of another $10 off plus a $25 National/AMEX gas card if we use our AMEX to pay for the rental (which we always use for travel anyway) so, I've got the rental down to $348 total for 7 days plus a gas card by mail afterwards. Not what I would like, but, better than I started with. I got a better price with Dollar for this trip, but, no extra driver and with National EC we get the extra driver allowed.

I am going to pick up my car at the Center on Christmas Eve at 8:00 a.m. what does anyone think about that? I am coming from the AKL and expect a hugh amount of people but then again maybe it is too early.
