I have decided to get a car from National, the trouble is which one?

I have a rate of $163.73 for September 25 - 30 for a full size.

I have a rate of $123.00 for the same date for an intermediate.

Both are Emerald Aisle which I have no idea how to use!!!

What types of cars do you get for an intermediate, Emerald Aisle?

Is it worth it to get a full size for $40 more??

How do I use Emerald Aisle and where is it???

Your intermediate rental is "Emerald Aisle" and your full size rental is "Emerald Reserve".

IMHO, I'd stick with the intermediate since the rate is $40 less and you 'might' get an upgrade anyway unless, of course, you absolutely need a full size due to the number of people going. Then I would book a full size for the guarantee of a full size.

All you do is bypass the counter and head to National across the street and you look for the aisle of the size you reserved. If you reserved intermediate, then look for the 'Emerald Aisle', if you booked full size then look for the 'full size aisle'. It SO easy.

The keys will be in the car. You just load up and head to the booth/exit and hand them your license, credit card and any coupon you might be using. Then you are good to go.

I just used the Emerald Aisle last week and got a PT cruiser convertable. That was the first time I was ever lucky enough to see PT cruisers on the Emerald Aisle. Its tiny, though, but my girls really wanted it. Good thing DH wasn't with us this time!

From what I've read the Emerald Aisle is the way to go (the intermediate). I have a Emerald Reserve for our October trip because we need an SUV, but a lot of people have been pleased with what they find on the Emerald Aisle...

I don't know what types of cars there are on the Emerald Aisle, but if you don't need a full-size I would go with the Intermediate and save the $$$.
