National DC - coupon instead of contract ID

I just discovered that the 'coupon' number in the DC booklet - 1000____, has to be entered into the coupon slot when making the reservation. On the coupon, it says "...request Contract ID Number 1000____." Well, that is wrong. I have been playing with this for a while and decided to put that number into the coupon spot. I received the $20 off. But, I am still not getting a discount for the new Disney Club code that I used. Well, I'll keep trying. Hope this helps someone!

Can you use both the contract ID, which is on Mousesavers, and the code mentioned above as a coupon code? I plugged in both, and it dropped my rate down another $20 to $145 for a full size for 8 days!!! I am a DC member, and I have both my card and the coupon in the January newsletter.

When I got that rate, I wasn't logged in to EA. When I logged in and did it again, it dropped to $132 for 8 days full size, all taxes and fees included. WOW!

I'm going for it. I am using the coupon code ($20 savings), plus the old DC contract ID number ($32 savings) and got a rate of $154 for 9 days in September. I think I will call National closer to our date of departure and just double check my rate. I will also keep watching this board for any more great ideas!!

Yes, you can use one contract ID and one coupon at the same time, so they are combinable

I am a dc member but do not see a coupon for $20 off anywhere I look. (I did use the old contact number). went to the web site and still did not see the $20 off. Can ya help me!

The coupon was in my Disney Club News dated January, 2003 (Issue no. 18). I don't know that you can find it anywhere else. I think someone posted that some DC members were receiving this 'newsletter' late. If you didn't receive it, maybe you should contact the DC.??? Good luck!
