Happy World Photography Day

My favorite ride was 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.... think they were taken in the early 1970's. I plan to borrow the photos and add them to our Digital photo file.

Happy World Photography Day
I spent some time with my sister in law today. She shared with me a bunch of photos from our Family trips to Walt Disney World...

That was the one ride I wanted to do when we went on our honeymoon decades ago. It had just closed for refurbishment the day we arrived. By the time we got to go back again, years later, it was gone. Still not over it.

Well today I had fresh picked corn which I slathered in butter (nothing compares to fresh picked). We also had Cuban sandwich appetizers from PC brand and all I can say is that I am glad they are all gone because they were quite mustardy - not my fave.
I am a nerd everyday so that is nothing new.

I plan on having sweet waffles for breakfast or making corn waffles for dinner which will do both waffle day and can opener day (can use canned corn). I need to check with the family about that one. I don't have any peach pies here so may skip that one and I will for sure find some Strange music to listen to.

So my Grand daughter and niece came over today and we went to Cora's for Breakfast.
In honor if International Waffle day we had some delicious waffles.
The strawberry and custard with whip cream was my choice.

Diatomaceous earth is the greatest stuff for getting rid of crawling critters (bugs) when you have pets. I am never without a bottle of it in the cupboard.

I thought I would share some of the One Hit Wonders that I found that I actually know. The lists vary depending on who created it but a One Hit Wonder is a band who has cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 only once .
Another definition. A one-hit wonder is any entity that achieves mainstream popularity, often for only one piece of work, and becomes known among the general public solely for that momentary success. The term is most commonly used in regard to music performers with only one hit single that overshadows their other work.

My Sister and I entered a Scarecrow contest at the Colourfest Fall Fair at the cottage and ps we won the adult prize. Our couple was enjoying dance night at the local dance hall.
