National Cheer Competition at WDW in March

Hi. Has anyone made plans to attend the National cheerleading competition at WDW in March of 2005? My SIL just called and asked my to go with her when she takes my niece (6th grader) down with her team. They just found out their team made enough points for the competetion but she didn't have any dates or other information yet.

Does anyone have this information? I am sooo excited both for my niece and for me getting to go back!!

I believe there are 2 national comps in March. One the weekend of March 12 and the other the weekend later.

The first one is UCA's the other is Americheer.

We'll be down there for my daughter's spring break from college, she used to cheer for an all-star team in Jersey and they'll be there that weekend, so she's excited to see them. Just a coincidence that we'll be there the same time.

I think most of them stay at the All Star Resorts.

the
All Stars and Caribbean Beach Resort, if they want to pay more.

We will be at WDW March 14-17. Do the cheerleaders usually stay for more than just the weekend? I'm just wondering on the crowds. (I certainly did not plan this very well, although I don't think my DH will mind )
