I've been checking my National ressie for August every day for a price decrease. While I kept hearing about decreases in September, so far I've been frustrated for August, at least until today. Just checked, and mine went down about $10. Every little bit helps!!

beattyfamily;

For MCO, full-size EA for a week, base rate only (before discounts, coupons, or tax and fees), 135.98. This is for early August. I believe others who booked earlier than I did have it lower than that already.

Thanks for posting.

I'm at $146 for Nov/Dec, hoping it will come down before my trip too.

Congrats!

I got a rate of $119 for a week at the end of September. I thought that was pretty darn good.

Only 69 days til the Disney Info TV network... Zippity Doo Dah Tip for Today!!!!

Wow, that is pretty darn good! When did you book it? Is that before or after taxes and coupons etc...

Most of us are quoting base rate before discounts and taxes etc...

Still not beating what I got in June.
Just plugged in again, with EA club number, Lake Buena Vista Discount and AAA and got TOTAL of $155.83 for my 8/26-9/2.
I will stick with my $144 (taxes and charges included).
Thank you anyway. I am sure it is saving many people some big money :)

Thanks so much!! Just went and knocked down the cost of my rental by about $20!!

**UPDATE*** knocked another $5 off....

just dropped another 17$ on our rental too.(full size)....it is a 8/26 - 9/2 ressie too which was orignally 145$ now it is 128$

with DC contract code and free day coupon code from disney club

Wow, I'm going the same time as you but I don't have a DC card.
I better go look for the 1 day free coupon (is that the same as the LBV discount). Using that I saved $17.

This is price I got for a reservation for 10/13 - 10/20:

Full size base price: $135.88

If you have a discover card, they offer a discount of $25, it is the Discover Double Cash Back Bonus.

The Coupon number is: 10003517

I was searching one of those sites that you do a trial thing on and found a coupon for an additional $10 off for a weekly rental.

I forgot to mention the total price including the additional discounts: $139.91

Is this a suitable price?

Thanks for your help.

Amy:rolleyes:

In order to use the Discover Card Double Cash Back Bonus code, wouldn't you need to show National an actual coupon. Where and how would you get this coupon?

I believe the Discover card rate requires you to use some of your cashback bonus and then be sent a coupon for the discount.

Just so everyone knows, if you go to the Discover card website and get the Contract ID code there you will get another $6 discount in addition to the lower base rates you are seeing here.
