National - anyone else notice this??

I'm renting for a week from National (EC member) beginning 12/9. Being as dollar conscious as I am, I check the rates and various codes several times a day to see if rates have dropped. Here's what I've noticed: If I check the rates on my computer at work, the base rate is always much higher than if I check it at home. I've tried clearing cookies, etc. Just wondering if this has to do with the computer location, or if it's because I'm checking during the day whereas at home it's late evening or weekends? Anyone else noticed this?

And in case anyone's wondering, my week using AARP rate plus $20 coupon is now $119.96 for mid-size, all costs included.

I just checked for our trip this morning and I noticed the rate dropped by about $10.00. National's rate will vary depending on the amount of rentals they have at the time. Keep checking a couple times a day. It doens't have anything to do with your computer, especially if you cleared cookies. I was at home and checked the rates one day and checked the rate again in 10 minutes. The rate jumped up by $40.00. It just depends on the amount of ressies made. Also sent you a pm
