Help! We are not sure what to plan for our day in Nassau with our children. We love to snorkel but not an option with little ones. Straw market and port area not appropriate (in our opinion) so looking for some ideas to get off the ship but able to do with a 2 year old...Thanks! ::MickeyMo

On our Wonder cruise with two 2 year olds, a 7 and a 9 year old we went to Cable Beach and had a ball. They have a swim up bar, water slide, nice beach with free umbrellas and motorized water sports for a small fee. Your husband can take the 7 year old out on a banana boat or something. It's only about ten minutes. The hotel (Wyndham Crystal Palace) lets you use their facilities for free. It's a great beach day and all you will spend is cab fare to get there.
We liked it so much that we went back again on our next cruise.

Not sure about this....can the kids be checked into the Oceaneer Club? We are traveling in May and I was wondering if they allow you to drop the kids off there, and go ashore. :confused3 I was going to ask this on a thread, but will see if I get any response! If we can do that...that is what we will probably do! Of course, we would not plan on being away all day...just a couple hours to sight-see; we would not book any excursions in case we were needed.

I would take the kids to Atlantis and do their aquarium. The cost is $25.00 per adult and $15.00 per child. It is very worth it and the kids will love it. I took my two down (2 & 5)(we stayed at the property) and turned it into an educational experience, Finding pictures of fish, with little bits of information on them and some crayon and fish to color etc. You could make them some little packets that are age appropriate (my little one loved the stickers).

Atlantis is so worth it! We had a great time.

Check out their website and look at The Dig!

Hope this helps!

Yes, they can. But I think we were told the pagers would not work in Nassau.

I thought folks have said it is FREE to tour most of the aquarium; the fee is required if you want to tour "The Dig" which provides a different view of the aquarium. No?
