I know I'm a year away from my cruise but I think we have decided to head over to Atlantis for the day. It really looks awesome! I will get a room at Comfort Inn, the rate is only $165..I didn't think that was bad for a day at an awesome water park and aquarium. Anybody have first hand experience to share? Did you enjoy your visit? Would go again?

Never stayed at the Atlantis or the Comfort Inn, but we did the tour of the Atlantis and it was breath taking. Beautiful grounds and casino. Nice resturaunts (but quite pricy!!). We wished we could have used the pool and beach areas. They looked awesome. I am sure you will be very happy with your decision to do the "day room". Have fun planning the rest of your trip!!!

I saw a great tip here I might use to take care of lunch expenses. Someone suggested taking a soft side cooler and filling it with items from room service on the ship. That might be nice to have back at our room when our 3 yr old will be napping. But then again, it might be a hassle too. How pricey was "pricey" exactally? Can you remember anything that suprised you?

I just held a room today at the Comfort Suites for our 3 day Wonder cruise in October. It was $175 + tax. We may take some snacks from the ship but we may also eat lunch at Atlantis. It looks like there is a fridge and micro in some rooms. I don't think you have to pay for the room up front. They ask for a credit card and if you do not show they charge for the room.
