Nassau - Lunch & Booze

This will be our first time in Nassau. Not sure if we will book excursions or not; however, I was curious if there was anywhere we should be on the lookout for some good food/lunch? My husband is a bit of a foodie and likes trying food from different cultures and we have never been to the Caribbean.

Second and most important question. I LOVE rum. Is there anywhere specifically that I should look to pick up a bottle to bring back home?

We enjoyed a walking tour with https://www.islandztours.com/. Ours was focused on rum, but I think they also have one that is more food-oriented. You should also consider a visit to John Watling's Distillery.

My fiance and I did the Blue Lagoon Island VIP Beach day in Nassau and it was our favorite! It says you get one free welcome bahama mama drink but it was unlimited which was an amazing surprise. Its adults only which was a nice feature. Definitely worth it.

We booked a multi-course tasting menu lunch at Graycliff Estates with wine pairing. It was absolutely delicious. Then we had a tour of their wine cellar and went to the chocolate store attached. It's a lovely place and the restaurant is probably open for regular lunch which, if the food quality and chef is still the same, could be really nice. Then off to the chocolate factory.
