My mom is older so I was thinking that we could take the tour of Nassau in the air conditioned bus. Has anyone else done this excursion? She might have a hard time with the walking so I don't want to do Atlantis and actually it doesn't really interest me. Any other ideas?

We didn't do the tour but another good one is the trip to Blue Lagoon... It's a boat ride to Blue Lagoon, which is basically a beach. It gives a great "boat tour" of Nassau - it goes right past Atlantis... and you get to see Blue Lagoon as well - not much walking at all! Just to get from the boat to the beach.

The Historic Tour (on the bus) worked great for my Dad (73 at the time). We saw many of the "highlights" without alot of walking. (He did skip the Queens staircase, though.)

But staying on the ship at Nassau during our last cruise worked out even better. We enjoyed a sit down lunch. virtually empty pools, and the most "at ease" day of the entire cruise.

The Historic city tour is great. You can get out if you want at queens staircase, a couple of forts, the lighthouse, a good overview of the town while driving around. Great photo ops.
