My DH and I will be taking our very first cruise on the Disney Magic beginning Feb 7 - Feb 11. This trip was suppose to be with a group but some things came up for the others. So it will be just the two of us.
We are trying to decide if we should book an excursion or explore the areas we want to with just the two of us.
Any suggestions? We are currently booked for the Forts and Junknoo excursion but I am not sure about this one.
Thanks

We did an excursion to Blue Lagoon and did the dolphin swim. It was a nice boat ride over and the Blue Lagoon was very nice. Others on the cruise did the water park at Atlantis. They seemed to enjoy it. I have read on these boards that people like Junknoo but I have not been there myself. Personally, I don't like this port enough to explore it on my own. If I don't have an excursion booked I just stay on the ship.

We did that excursion when we were there. It's a pretty good tour. Not a lot of splash and dazzle, but quite informative. We didn't plan on spending a lot of time off the ship, and felt this would be a good option. We're not Altlantis-types (can't really see paying for a water park when we're on a cruise).
