Nassau beaches

[Momx4 first visit]

We are thinking about taking a taxi to a nice beach in Nassau for a few hours next month. Anyone done this? Beach recommendations and any idea on taxi price?

Take a nice walk though the port about 1/2 mile or so to a free beach, Junkanoo beach

I would second that. I wouldn't want to deal with a taxi if I didn't have to.
