Wife and I are getting away for a couple of days...Thanks GROUPON!! Any restaurant or activity suggestions would be appreciated. We are going today and tomorrow.

So many great restaurants around here...lets see...Main Street has many good places to go, parking can be tricky but its a nice place if you have to walk a bit. There is parking behind Alex shoes is you want to just park and walk around. For restaurants there is Michael Timothy's, Surf, Martha Exchange (also a brewery), Peddler Daughter (tavern), Villa Banca, and so many others. There are little side streets off of main that have shops, martini bars, sushi, so much. It is safe to walk the down town are without problem.

or, you can continue up Main street heading north toward Merrimack. The Budweiser brewery is farther down, they offer tours but im not sure of the hours. Also in Merrimack on DW highway (the road Main st turns into) is Buckleys great steak (so good but pricey) The Common Man, and The Homestead restaurants.

I just posted on your thread on the BB, but here it is again:

Tonight is the Holiday Stroll on Main St. Main St. gets blocked off and there is live entertainment, ice sculpture carving, hay rides, Santa, etc. Shops and restaurants are open. There are several good restaurants on Main St. Michael's & Surf ($$$$), Villa Banca, Unum's Saffron Bistro ($$$), Martha's Exhange (which has its own microbrewery) and Peddler's Daughter ($$).
