Does anyone know if they will show the race on Sunday, April 23, on the Fantasy? My 90 year old DM is beside herself that she may miss a race!

Maybe, maybe not. I doubt that it would be on the stateroom TV. It MIGHT be shown in O'Gill's. Depends on what channel it's being broadcast on and the satellite signal.

If all else fails, there might be a Diaper Dash in the atrium at some point during your cruise. The drivers/sponsors are unknown, the speeds are in the low single digits and there are few rollovers unless the ship rocks. However, they are a hoot to watch. Check your Navigator for times. Bet Guest Services might help you with viewing the NASCAR race. Maybe you can record it for viewing after the cruise. Good luck!

I totally get her "need". I work for an open wheeled race team and I would die if I missed a race. That being said...Disney and ABC are owned by the same company...so perhaps if its broadcast on ABC, you will get it. Unfortunately, NBC has our contract, so I try to only travel in the off season.

Ive cruised during the US Open (golf) before which was not on ABC or ESPN and have seen it on board. It might be on, it might not. It might be posted, it might not.

I would say not likely. With the NBA playoffs on more people will probably request that in the pub. Since it is Sunday, are you in a port that day? You could possibly have them put it on in the pub if it is empty, assuming anyone is in the pub while in port. I would ask, they have more than 1 TV and you could get it on a smaller one without sound.

Assuming it may be on Fox (NASCAR on Fox)? O'Gills seems like you best shot.
Only ABC/ESPN is broadcast in the room and if you're in certain areas they have to black it out due to local laws.
