The 10th race of the 2013 season is the "Aaron's 499" at Talladega Superspeedway on SUNDAY May 5th#
Qualifying is #COLOR=red#SATURDAY#/COLOR# May 4th# Please make your picks beforethe qualifying is scheduled to begin#
Talladega Superspeedway is a tri-oval track with a lap distace of 2#66 miles# 188 laps will equal a total race distance of 500 miles#
The #88 JR & the #24 share the most wins here since 1975# Each has 5 victories#
Other history:
In 5/12, #24 J Gordon won the pole in a race won by #2 B Kezelowski#
In 10/12, #5 K Kahne turned in the fastest qualifying time and #20 M Kenseth took a ride to Victory Lane#
In 4/11, #24 J Gordon was in the 1st starting grid and we saw #48 J Johnson grab the checkered flag#
In 10/11, #55 M Martin started the race in 1st place but 1st place honors at the end of the race went to #15 C Bowyer#
In 4/10, #48 J Johnson sat on the pole in a race won by #29 K Harvick#
