Nascar or the NHL?

I would watch hockey played at any level over a Nascar race.

Hockey, definitely hockey. Racing is too darn boring! The only sport more boring than racing is golf.

We are a hockey household - between DD & DH they are either playing it, coaching it, watching it (any and all teams/leagues - NHL, college, kids, etc), practicing for it, talking about it or reading about it.

Every now & then I will try to put on NASCAR for a break, but getting hold of the remote for the big TV for that when hockey is on is a losing battle....

I love all sports, so we bought one of those plasmas that has a split screen. I never liked Nascar at all, and I'm from way down in racing country, but when we moved about 10 minutes from Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, I got sucked in. It's a cult you know. Still haven't been to a race and don't really have a desire to go, but really enjoy watching it. Even have a car painted above DS's changing table in his sports themed nursery. No hockey player though, which really made his Godmother mad since they are BIG hockey people. So my vote is for Nascar, but I do enjoy hockey too.

Nascar without a doubt!! The Daytona 500 was AWESOME!! However we just moved to GA, but we are from NC so you gotta love racing!!

Those are my exact thoughts. Yes honey, lets watch a bunch of cars drive around in CIRCLES for hours. Maybe someone will die to make it really exciting.

Although I do find the whole professional sports thing rather silly (grown men and women gettign paid bagillions of dollars to play children's games), and the concept of hockey dosen't sound too nail-bitingly attractive either (people on blades that moove around on ice and try to put a circular plastic disk into the opposite net...for 90 minutes), I'll have to say I am glued to the TV once play-off season starts.

Hockey all the way! We used to be big Nascar fans then DH went to Canada on a business trip and came back a hockey fan! Hockey is the best sport to watch. It is so fast paced and full of excitement. We love our Predators and are hoping for a great playoff run this year. GO PREDS!
