The first fall race at Texas and the first race in three years that I have not won tickets. I'm actually glad. NBC moved the start time back to 2:50 Central time (3:50 ET) so it's going to end pretty late. Figure 7:00pm or so, it takes 3 hours to get out of the parking lot and another 3 hours to drive to my home in OK. I'LL WATCH JEFF WIN FROM HOME!!!

That's right this is one of 4 tracks where Jeff hasn't won yet (along with Phoenix (next) and Homestead (right after that). I predict a 24 team rally to win the last three races of the year. Don't laugh stranger things have happened.

No winner of this race last year, Biffle won the April race (Boo hiss). Other winners at Tx include Newman, Dale Jr and Sadler.

Qualifying is Friday at 4:10PM ET.

My picks:

1. #24 - Jeff Gordon
2. #16 - Biffle
3. #5 - Kyle Busch
4. #25 - Brian Vickers
5. #44 - Terry Labonte

You can go to the track, hit all the fun vendor stuff (be sure to check out the Build-a-Bear trailer), tailgate, and then when folks head into the track, you can listen to the race on XM or if you have scanners, they will probably work and you can listen to the drivers talk, etc. And it won't cost you anything, but gas money and if you have to pay to park.

What was up with Mikey's hair? Did you guys see him on TV earlier this week? If he don't get his hair cut, we're gonna have to start calling him Miss Kitty (from Gunsmoke).... I think it was longer than Elliott's was last year!!! :teeth:

Ginny

ps--- I know I pick on Greg Sniffle, but I broke down and bought the pet calendar for 2006 from his hauler. Very cute pixs. Love Tony's little money "MoJo"!!
