Nascar Cafe

Has anyone been to the Nascar Cafe at City Walk? We're going end of June and would love to eat there - major race fans in the family.

We haven't eaten there yet but will in August. Great looking menu. Go to the 1/2 price citywalk thread and they have gift certificates for the Nascar cafe that expire 06/30/04. You pay $25 and get $25 free, a total of $28.50 with shipping and handling for $50 worth of certificates.

That's the first place we ate at last July. Our waiter was great! Every time he came to the table, he talked like we were at a race and having a pitstop...like refilling our drinks and calling them fuel, etc. Race fans, such as my dh and sons loved it! The food was really good also....all entres related to race stuff.

Where is this "thread"? I tried a search and didn't come up with something. Is it on the Citywalk site? or in this forum. Thanks for the advise - now I just wish I could find it. The certificates sound awsome...............

Thanks for the good news. Actually it's my oldest daughter who is a major race fan - along with my grandson - who's 4. He'll get a kick out of seeing the cars up close and personal I looked at the menu too and it sounded fun.

Thanks........WOw - these seem almost too good to be true? Would like to hear from someone who actually USED it with no problem. I'm really interested in the Nascar one - and since there are 5 of us going (me, husband, 2 daughters (17 & 22) and 4 yo grandson - there shouldn't be a problem if we asked for seperate checks.

I can't wait to go - seems like forever

My son and I are big NASCAR fans (go Tony!), and we like the NASCAR Cafe. I find it is what I consider middle of the road. Not real fancy, but not just a burger joint either. Service has been good each time we've visited, and the food has been good. It's not a Mama Della's or a Tchoup Chop, but, if I ate at places like those every night, I wouldn't fit on Hulk!!

We loved it there. It was the first dining experience we had at Universal and we enjoyed it very much. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich is awesome! Have fun!

Thanx for all the positive feedback. I know we'll definetly be eating there then. Actually I prefer the "middle of the road" kind of places - more relaxing.

And I'll definetly go purchase those 1/2 price gc from another thread - seems like you can't beat that - especially if we're going there anyways.
