Nassau~been there~done it

What would you do at Nassau if you have been there several times. Nassau just has not held any real appeal to us. :sad2:
We have been shopping and looking around. We have gone on excursions. In September we will not get off the ship unless we become bored. For two adults what would you suggest if we do decide to get off the ship?

BUT....November 2006 we will have the kids. Not sure what to do with them...we have swam with the stingrays....been to Blue Lagoon Island. Not sure what else to do with them. We have thought about reservation at the Atlantis or Comfort Inn for the use of the pool areas at the Atlantis. Even thought about the Pirate cruise. pirate:

:confused3

Its a little pricey...but I'd do the dolphin excursion...its worth the $$$ (BF said it was his favorite part of the cruise) I think next time we will actually go the swim (will have to plan that seperately....)

Plenty for the kids to do onboard that big, beautiful ship without even booking excursions.....

1) Oceaneers
2) Quartermasters
3) Pools
4) Movies

We have thought about this. My DD and DS would love to do this. DH and I have been able to experience this before but they have not.

However, we might just talk them into enjoying the ship. DD will be in the Aloft and she might want to do the powerboat excursion for teens. If she wants to do that I might let her. I was just curious to see what others might have done in the past.

Dh and I have thought about renting on of those "mad" horse and buggy rides and see if we could survive the ride. LOL They drive like the cabbies in Mexico do. But that is if we even leave the ship in September. I did read something about a rum plant on the island. That might be interesting, but this cruise is all about us having some alone time away from our children to enjoy each other and the ship.

On our last two Wonder cruises we took a cab over to Atlantis and bought wristbands ($25 each I think) that let us into the Dig and around the grounds (but not the pools). It is a beautiful resort and we spent a nice morning there. Then headed back to the ship for lunch and enjoying the ship without all the crowds on board.

My mom did that and she enjoyed that alot. I just know if we do this the kids will want to go to the pools.
