About six months ago when I was starting to plan our first wdw trip..... I came across info on getting a tour of Nasa while we were there. Some company that provided tours and also picked you up on Disney property, it was an entire day thing.... Now that I am ready to purchase that tour... do you think I can find the link?! no!

anyone have any info on this? TIA!!!:confused3

Did you try looking on the Kennedy Space Center website? I would think the service may be marketed there.

We've done the KSC tour several times (DH is a space nut, we both were in grade school during the 1st moon landing) and it's pretty fabulous, if you like that sort of thing. The only thing I would give a  to is the food court- absolutely the WORST burger I have ever had the misfortune of ingesting. Not only was it a funny color gray, but it had no flavor. None. At all. I actually looked to see if they had given me a veggie burger instead because it was that unlike actual meat, but no, that was their hamburger all right. Pretty sad that we went on a 2 hour bus tour with all the stops, seeing all those cool rockets and Skylab units and pretty much what I remember is that dreadful burger. (Sorry for the rant- I do highly recommend the tour. ;) )

Edited to add: Just googled "Kennedy Space Center Tour from Orlando and came up with this: http://www.orlando-tours.com/?event=offer.detail&offerId=5831. There are two Disney resorts on their pickup list: All Star Music and the Swan. You could easily take the bus or a cab to one of these locations. Have fun and eat a big breakfast before you go!

I would recommend Dolphin Tours. They are at www.floridadolphintours.com - we went with these on our last trip & the driver was fantastic. They picked us up at our hotel & several others up at theirs.

I have to second the food though, the outpost at the Saturn V centre is pretty dreadful. I have a picky sister who just refuses to eat there.

I used Viator (www.viator.com) for several excursions in the past. (Nothing in Orlando yet, though). Perhaps they have what you're looking for; if not, it's an excellent referance for what can be done.

We did KSC a year ago. We rented a car from the rental center on site (Alamo ?). The rental company picked us up at Pops early, so we could get there for opening. The drive was quite easy and the car was only about forty dollars. For us this was a good choice because we like to keep our own schedule and have options to stay or go as we please.
We didn't mind the food - that wasn't our reason for going.
We thoroughly enjoyed the center and highly recommend the tour to everyone. It is something that you will not forget. It leaves you in awe to see what has been accomplished
