Ok, I asked for the best breakfast, and have narrowed it down to 3, now I can't decide.........

1) Boma....I've always wanted to see the AKL, so that would provide the opportunity, but sounds like it would be a hastle to get to. I am thinking it would make more sense to just eat at Tusker HOuse since it is our AK day.

2) Tusker House.... it IS our AK day, so I was thinking we'd get there early and jump right on the safari. Probably pay for it OOP since we're on the DP and don't want to use a credit for breakfast. If we do this, should we hit Boma for dinner?

3) Crystal Palace....I like the idea of an early ressie and being in the park before opening, but I've already planned on eating a lunch or dinner here instead. We already have 3 days of MK in our itinerary, so maybe we should try a new restaurant instead of eating here twice. IF the breakfast is absolutely superb, then by all means we'll give it a shot and change our lunch/dinner plans to LTT or somewhere else.

The more I think about the options, the more confused I get!! But I loove the planning. So, suggestions, please!!

Tusker House most definitely with your kids. We did it in 2008 and LOVED it!! We will redo it this trip. The food, the characters, the shakers, the parade. We all had fun adn the food was really good!

We've done all 3 and my top choice would be Tusker House for breakfast. We were surprised at how well we liked the food here; it offers many dishes that are not the typical breakfast fare you get at all of the other breakfast buffets at WDW. We also love Boma for dinner but we are very adventurous eaters.

Crystal Palace, while okay, does not wow us.

If it is your AK day you should really do the Tusker House breakfast. Our kids really enjoyed it!

You may get oter dissenting opinions but we like Rainforest for breakfast before the park opens.

Kona at Poly (on the monorail) is a nice breakfast choice.

Boma is way out unless you're staying there. Crystal Palace is much better at lunch IMO. Haven't done Tusker for breakfast, but is far and away the best TS food in AK, so we have lunch there.

Tusker House, Tusker House, Tusker House!! It is a must do on our Animal Kingdom day.

Tusker House! Food is good a a nice variety including some unusual dishes and fabulous fun and characters. I personally would skip Boma for dinner but if you really want to see AKL or try it then go for it.

I would say Tusker House for convenience...and the Jungle Juice.
It's not that big of a deal to get to Boma from AK, so if you're really attached to the idea, then I would recommend getting to the Animal Kingdom at Rope Drop, and getting the latest possible ADR for Boma. That way you could get a few attractions done beforehand, get Fastpasses before you leave, and return to do some more after you eat. If you get an ADR that's too early, then you run the risk of having to wait for the buses, and possibly having this interfere with your Animal Kingdom time. Also, you would probably feel more rushed to get to the park after your meal. Another option would be just taking a taxi to AKL in the morning, then taking the bus from there to AK.

From the three you've listed, our order would be:

Boma
Crystal Palace (this is only second because you don't want to go to MK again)
Tusker House
