DD wears a 11 slim in shoes, she is 5. Stride rite just doesn't have enough styles, does anyone else have recommendations? I am looking for tennis shoes and "school shoes".
I second the Skechers suggestion. My daughter has the longest most narrow feet I have seen. Ever since she was 2 I have not been able to buy her shoes from Target, walmart, payless... *sigh* so no cheap shoes. lol Skechers is narrow enough, though she tends to wear a size bigger in Skechers than her feet measure and they don't offer much in the way of arch support if you have have flat feet.
There' s a skechers outlet near WDW. Not that you want to break in a pair on your trip tho
Another vote for Sketchers.... just bought 2 pr. for preschool.
Also, it is new by us, but there is a store called Janie and Jack. It is part of Gymboree. They have the most adorable clothes there and I hit the jackpot with shoes. They had all the spring and summer shoes clearanced at $8 with a lot of cute styles perfect for school. I don't normally like Gymboree shoes, but these were really nice. They were perfect (more narrow) for my DD.
Thanks everyone! Are the skechers actually labeled narrow or slim? To give you an idea of what I am working with, she is 5, is 43 inches tall, and weighs 31lbs! So, for her everyday shoes, she really needs a slim/narrow.
