My youngest son really wants to walk thru this..is it still there? TIA..

Just returned back wdw yesterday and yes the Narnia display was still there.

It really is just a long trailer for the movie. You have white trees (snow covered) the ice queen comes out and says something, I can't remember exactly what, and then you watch the long trailer, then walk out through green trees. I can't believe I waited 45 min in line for this in December.

This will be a low priority for us on our trip next week, but I am curious what props in the attraction are from the actual movie. Anyone know?

Also, I heard it is going away in July (for the person who asked).

The guide in Dec said they were some of the props used in the movie.

This attraction was so dissapointing! You watch a trailer and then walk out the door! DO NOT wait in line for this!! They had a few props from the movie, I remember they had some of the statues that the animals got turned into by the queen.

Does anyone know how long this is supposed to last? I can't imagine it will be there in Nov when I go. My son did love the movie.

I'm thinking we'll probably skip this but where in Disney is it?

We saw this in March and it's a definate waste of your time...but I think it would be sooo cool if they made a Narnia ride...

If you have visited MGM several times before, and if you enjoyed the movie, it's worth doing if you don't have to wait very long. It is short but nice. You get to go through the wardrobe door, and inside is a winter scene including the Lamppost. (I'm sure it's the same one that was in the movie.) Just don't expect anything amazing, or miss something else you really wanted to do for this.

HydroGuy - I hope you're right about July - DNeph (8) is DYING to just walk through the wardrobe and see some of the movie props in June - he LOVES everything about Narnia!!

Michelle VW - DNeph and I were just talking about a Narnia ride this weekend - he thought it would be great if MGM finally had a water ride based on Narnia - his idea was to start the ride in winter in the ice queen's castle and ride 'through' the melting of the snow and spring coming into Aslan's camp. They could make an AWESOME ride out of this theme!!! :smooth:

It was a must see for us, DS is a huge Narnia fan, way before the movie. He's read all 7 of the books and has re-read a couple of them! We went in January & didn't wait more than 10 mins for this, enjoyed going in thru the wardrobe doors and into Lantern Waste. :) Got a cute pic of him by the small door near the prop area-not sure if it was Mr. Tumnus' door or the Beavers off the top of my head.

IIRC they had the sleigh (or a replica), the White Witch's staff or sowrd/cane thing-sorry not a great memory, the last 3 pics here show some of what they have in that back area:

Edited to add that there were also costumes & storyboards. Cool attraction!
