Narnia Exhibit Will Only Be There For 3 Months

Thanks for passing along the info, we'll be sure to do it again during our quick Sept trip if we can. I'm among the group that likes it, although it is not an exhibit you are going to spend a long time admiring, we still enjoy checking out the props, seeing the White Witch & Mr. Tumnus' door, plus watching the extended trailer.

just wanted to point out to some that aren't very detail oriented, that this thread was started in january. the three month period is way past .

So true! This only proves that you can take what you hear from any particular CM with a grain of salt. I'm not bashing the CMs, but they are simply the last to know. They were very adamant when they told me it would remain open three months only. I would imagine it will remain open until no one else is willing to stand in line for the exhibit or they come up with a replacement.

Other than the trailer, did they try to do anything with Aslan at all in the exhibit? I never hear him mentioned.

No flames, but we liked it. We went over Christmas week and also waited about 15 minutes to get in. It was so crowded we really couldn't see anything in the second room. We went back today. We waited 5 minutes to get in. There were only a handful of people with us. We were able to take our time and look at all the pictures and read about the costumes and props. No, it wasn't a big exhibit, but we still enjoyed it. We loved seeing the extended trailer again. I forgot to take my camera today. I plan on going back next week when the crowds are low so I can get good pictures of the set.

I totally agree with you! I thought it was pretty cool.

The exhibit will be there at a minimum until early December. I'll be attending a private event held there.

While I realized before I posted that the OP was from a while ago, it was a good reminder that if we wanted to see it again, we might do so on our trip in a couple of weeks because it might be gone before our December trip.

And also, as Peg said, a good reminder that CMs don't always give or have the most up to date info. :)

It's true.

While CM's are special, it's as if some people believe that the Walt Disney Co. gives every CM complete insider information that is as secret as a CIA Investigation.

While we love (and I do mean love) our CM's, we must realize they are at the lower ends of the corporate "todem pole" and will not be privy to anything Disney does not want released (such as a close date on an attraction that had just opened, when in reality the coporate offices may not even know when they want to close it).

Many CM's are fans just like you and I and Disney knows (smartly) that anything told to a CM is as good as reporting it to the media.
