Hi! I was looking to make our first night really special and made reservations at Narcosse's (spelling may be WAY off!) for around 8:00 so we can see the Wishes show at 9:00 while we're enjoying dessert and coffee. I just wanted to know if anyone has done this and would you recommend it? It does take up 2 dinner "points" but I don't think we'll be doing much on our last day anyways so that shouldn't matter too much.
Thoughts? :confused3

The setting at Narcoosee's is lovely, especially for Wishes. I don't know if the food is worth the 2TS credits but it sounds to me like atmosphere is what you want and that's what you will get. IMO the best spot to watch the fireworks is outside on the restaraunt deck.

We've done that often. Timing is always a problem, as you never know for sure exactly when you'll be seated...even with ADR's.
But even if Wishes happens to begin in "mid-meal" (as it often did for us) no problem. Just walk out to the deck, enjoy the show, and then resume your meal after. The restaurant staff is well tuned to that happening.
Your timing sounds good!!

During our meal here (which was beautiful, delicous, and served by an attentive, but unintrusive server), Wishes began. The deck area filled up and we couldn't see too well from our seats inside the restaurant, so DD and I walked out on the deck (me carrying my wine! LOL!) and stood off to the side so as not to block the windows. It was unbelievable! DD put her arms around me as we watched (I'm talking a pre-teen, here!). We could hear the music . . . wonderful.

Then we headed back to our table and ordered dessert (almond crusted cheesecake - wow) and coffee. Very memorable evening.

Narcoossee's is YUMMY. And definetly worth the two TS credits. The fireworks are at 9pm. We actually had reservations for 7p and we arrived around 6:15p for a drink, and they asked if we wanted to be seated, so we did. But, the whole meal was about 2 hours. So if we had been seated for our original time, we would have seen them.

Get the 2 pound lobster...SO GOOD. And the almond cheesecake...SO GOOD too!!!

Narcoossee's is one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants. We love it so much because it's one of those "secret" restaurants that we found that was so great that not too many people really know about. The food is great, and you made a great time to watch the fireworks. The lights will turn off, and the soundtrack to Wishes will play while you're watching it. I really think you'll enjoy it. :tigger: :mickeyjum

Narcosse's is a great place. When we went we had a very good waiter who didn't badger us because we were on the dinning plan. My DW got the lobster tail which was outstanding. I got the whole lobster which while good was not nearly as good as my DW's. If you like mussels, they were some of the best I have ever had.
