DH and I have a reservation for a rare date night without kids at Narcoossee's during our stay in August :cool1: What are some of your favorite dishes there? Does anyone have pictures they'd be willing to share? We will be staying at the GF when we usually stay in the Epcot area, so we have never tried any of the restaurants there and we are excited!

The famous almond crusted cheesecake, it's as good as you've heard. We eat at Narcoossee's every Christmas Day for dinner. I'm afraid I can only tell you about the fillet mignon and new york strip as that is what I have every year followed by the cheesecake. It's our Christmas tradition and we love it all - the food, the ambience, the view, the location.
:santa:

I have some pictures linked in my first dining report in my signature. We had a really nice meal, but I did not like the soup and I though the almond cheesecake tasted too much like almond extract...which I know sounds a little crazy lol.

Thanks! Your trip report was awesome! You guys sound like you had a wonderful time :) Without kids would be SO MUCH FUN!

I only ate there once, but everything we had was really good, from the martini to the cheesecake.

No pics, but we had dinner there last Tuesday for the first time, and it was fantastic.

I would ask a question - DDP, TIW, or OOP? It makes a difference :). We go to Narcoossee's every trip, two trips per year, 12 years.

You want pictures, here you go! This is our favorite restaurant at WDW! We can't wait to go again on this trip. All photos are from our 2015 trip in summer.

This is the lobster mac n cheese. It was good but SOOO rich. We had plenty of food as it was that we really didn't need it.

Here's the bread - also yummy! They use pink sea salt - fun detail.

This is what I can't WAIT to get again - the full steamed lobster. I was hesitant about the side (the corn souffle with popcorn sauce) and almost substituted mashed potatoes, but it was tasty and I was glad I tried it.

Here is the grilled New York Strip steak - also so good! DH and I shared everything, by the way.

THE Almond-Crusted Cheesecake. My DH says it's his favorite dessert at WDW.

This is us posing just before the fireworks on the Narcoossee's deck. We had a great view of the fireworks, but keep in mind that we saw Wishes, not Happily Ever After (the new show). I can't comment on how the view might be, but we're hoping it will still be good when we go! You should definitely time it out so that you can watch the Electrical Water Pageant and the fireworks. Our server completely understood that we were leaving momentarily to view those shows and that we would be back. It was timed appropriately.

We just love Narcoosees, it's always our best meal at WDW. Here are pictures from our meal from this past August 16;

The lobster there is always amazing, and my DH loves the steak there as much as the one at Le Cellier. The desserts were fantastic as well.

That's not crazy at all! I do a lot of baking, and I can tell you that it's a fine line between using just enough extract and too much.
