Narcoossee's?

DH and I are looking for a place to go with out the kids for a night (kids will be at Simba's clubhouse) what do you think of Narcoosee's? Can you see the fire works from there?

If you get a window seat then you can see it, but I would suggest eating before Wishes and then walking out the pier, there's an area with seats where you can sit and watch right from the water. you can even hear the music!

I love Narcoosees, good choice!

Narcoosee's was good. But I would honestly say I wouldn't go again. The server we had was really poor and came around very infrequently. The food was pretty good but nothing that I think back on and say, "That a was really, really good!" Maybe we just had one bad experience, but I wouldn't really suggest it that highly.

I guess if we go to dinner early there we can just hop on the monorail to MK. But it sounds romantic sitting by the water watching the fireworks. OK I'm going to book it. THanks,

Narcoosee's was good. But I would honestly say I wouldn't go again. The server we had was really poor and came around very infrequently.

We've had the same issue about 5 times, out of about 20 but the food and atmosphere in my opinon is well worth the chance. But in all honesty, it seemed to be a trend on the DDP when gratuity was included. When we pay OOP, service in general seems to be better. The almond crusted cheesecake is absolutely worth whatever is thrown at you anyway.

If at all possible get an ADR for Wishes if not this time but next. It, IMO has the best view and of the water pageant, especially being directly on the water.

On the DDP, I would do Narcoosee's again. The food was good, the atmosphere is very nice.

I think the bad reviews stem from the build up of "The best seafood ever" that seem to pop up every now and then.

I'll be honest, I love seafood and I have been to many seafood places. The food really reminded me of Red Lobster. The atmosphere is more romantic, and the view is beautiful. The service was very nice, but the food itself is very normal safe seafood. The sides also, very safe and very normal. Nothing special or extraordinary.

I describe Narcoosee's as Red Lobster with a much better view and much nicer atmosphere. It's also much more expensive than Red Lobster, so it's a perfect DDP meal.

Go and enjoy your anniversary there, I think bad reviews are people who aren't happy with the safe/normal seafood.
