Is fireworks viewing out on the deck at Narcoossee's available to anyone, or just those dining there at that time?

We currently have a 7:35 ADR at Narcoossee's on August 16, a night when the evening MK parade will be at 9:00 and fireworks will be at 10:00. Our plan is to have a nice dinner and, depending on when we finish, watch the fireworks (or maybe the EWP) from the deck at Narcoossee's.

If Disney extends the Main Street Electrical Parade beyond August 14, however, we would want to get back to MK to watch it at 9:00, which would mean going earlier to Narcoossee's. The MSEP has extreme sentimental value to DW, and she would definitely want to see it if it is playing on 8/16. If we eat at Narcoossee's at around 6:00 and then leave for MK after finishing, would we be permitted to return to Narcoossee's to watch the 10:00 fireworks out on the deck? We could just choose to stay in MK after the 9:00 MSEP, but we were looking forward to seeing the fireworks from a new angle that we hadn't seen before. Thanks for any responses!

Yes, anyone can stand on the deck outside Narcoossee's & watch the fireworks. But I wouldn't go all the way to MK & then come back there for fireworks. As you'll see when you eat there, the deck outside of Narcoossee's is standing room only. No place to sit & relax or have a drink. If you are still at the restaurant it is a great spot. But I can't see going out of my way to watch from there. JMHO. Have a great vacation!:)

The deck at Narcoossee's should be reserved for customers.

However, there are lots of great places at the GF to watch the fireworks. you can watch them at the boat dock (near Narcoossee's) or at the marina near Gasparilla's.

Not inside the restaurant except at the bar but that wouldn't be a good view. You can stand on the deck, but remember that you would be blocking someone who is dining in the restaurant. You would be able to get very much the same view from the GF dock. If you haven't seem them from the Poly that would be the better view.

You don't have to stand on their deck. There are great views from the dock where the boat is, and by the CS or anywhere along the railing there, so you don't have to stake a spot on their deck as it might be crowded anyway and it never really is anywhere else.

You can only access the deck by going through the restaurant and while the deck goes around the restaurant, it's not very wide so not much room for "extra" people. I'm sure the host would inquire about your reservation or possibly seat you at the bar. As others said, you can view the fireworks from the boat launch close by Narcoosees or the Polynesian Beach is a nice place to view too.

Not quite true. We stood out on the deck while we were waiting to be seated for our dinner. We walked out the front door & the deck was right there next to the restaurant. So someone could just walk up to the deck from the front sidewalk , never going into the restaurant. Also there was noone stopping you from accessing the deck at that point.

We did go out a back door during dinner to the deck during the fireworks. That door seemed locked from the outside. So noone could walk back into the restaurant from the deck there. A CM seemed assigned to "man" the door (during the fireworks) & opened it for you as you walked up to it.

My kids loved this last year. I have a 7:15pm ressie booked this year, but I think we'll be done our meal way before the fireworks at 10pm. We will probably head over to MK to catch the parade at 9 and then linger on Main Street for fireworks.

Have fun!

I'll second what others have already said--no need to go out on the deck to watch the fireworks if you are already at the GF (but not in the restaurant).

And tho the view is pretty good, I really can't see coming BACK from the MK just to see the fireworks from a different angle.

Thanks for correcting. I guess I didn't notice that.

That happened to us, we had a lovely table view, we were celebrating two very special occasions, and a family stood outside right in front of our table! It wasn't a disaster and we did not say anything but it was a bit annoying as there were plenty of other places to stand. I could not have stood there knowing I was blocking someone elses view.

We have a 7:30 ADR at Narcoosees one night and Wishes fireworks are at 8pm. What happens when wishes starts? Is it an issue to leave our table and watch the fireworks from outside? I remember from our last trip that most tables are not against the window and of course I don't want to block anyone else's view. I'm thinking maybe another night for Narcoosees would be better so we don't have to worry about it......

Thanks to everyone for the helpful information. Sounds like there are some other places to watch the fireworks in the same general area. We have watched fireworks before from CR but never from Poly or GF, so this is good to know.

Plan to watch from the boat deck on another night, no need to leave MK just to get a vantage point from the GF! We have done FW from Narcoossee's twice, magical to say the least. First time on from the deck, second time from our table, just awesome.

Don't worry about it. The CM's will actually ENCOURAGE you to go out on the deck and watch the fireworks. If there is room, you might be able to (and should) stand w/o blocking anyones view.
If not-- they are welcome to go outside as well. If no one went outside then the only people able to see the fireworks would be the very few with a window table. And unfortunately, the deck at Narcoossee's is absolutely level with the floor and tables inside.
