Narcoossee's and Wishes - wait times

I have a 9:05 ressie for Narcoossee's on a 9:30 pm wishes night. I have been trying and trying ..........to get a little earlier time with no avail. I have seen a lot of talk about LONG wait times (way past your ADR time) at Cali. Grill especially around the time of wishes, even with an ADR. Has anyone experienced this same thing at Narcoossee's? Long wait times around wishes, and being seated long past your ADR? 9:05 is already late enough to start such a big meal, and we are traveling with children. I'd really hate to be seated long past our ADR. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Keep your ADR. We just got back from WDW and went to Narcoosee's on Saturday, October 25th with a 9:40 ADR time. Wishes was at 10pm. We were very apprehensive too about the late ADR time and wondering about how to see Wishes. We got there around 9:25 and were seated immediately. When it was time for Wishes, most EVERYONE went outside on the veranda to watch Wishes and the music was piped in there. It was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed it. The servers waited to bring our meals until we all came back inside. I guess they are used to that. But it was a wonderful experience and a very memorable evening.

You will not regret it!!!

You can never be sure about any wait, but I can't recall anyone ever comparing those long waits at CG with those at Narcoossee's.

Try to get CG better all around from food to fireworks.

Either place has great food and a great view of the fireworks. (DW and I think the view from the deck at Narcoossee's is better than from CG.) Do not worry about the ADR time you have; you want to go outside to see the fireworks at Narcoossee's. If you decide to stay at your table, you will mostly see the butts and backs of those standing on the deck!

We are usually seated very quickly at Narcoosees. If there is a wait....we grab a glass of wine at the bar and take a walk along the veranda and dock.
This is our favorite restaurant. Plan for a lesiurely meal and enjoy!

Thanks for all the replies. I am really looking forward to this meal. Eventhough we will have the kids with us, this is really a hubby and me meal. Just about everywhere else is for the kids (we love to see them happy) and that's okay. But this meal; I can't wait Thanks again for the replies.

We were seated very quickly on our last visit and it was just before the start of wishes.

Of course you can never tell when the restaurant is going to have an off night. I would suggest arriving around 20 minutes in advance of your ADR time and checking in. When you do check in make sure to request a window table!

We had a bit of a wait, but it turned out to be because they hadn't checked us in correctly. I'm sure that's an unusual occurrence though!
