Honestly, am I going to be getting looks from everyone if we walk in there with our girls (18 months and 4 years old) for our anniversary dinner next month? Is this the kind of restaurant where people are without their small children? I'm worried it may be too stuffy for us. It's our 11th anniversary and I'd like to have a nice dinner... but I want to feel comfortable and not totally worried that my 18 month throws some of her fries on the floor, ya know?

There will be other kids there, and toddlers throw food sometimes. It is a pretty casual place, though not a buffet type place. I would go and have a good time!

I got the sense that of all the GF table service locations, this was the most casual. They still have a dress code, and some people may look more sidelong than other property restaurants if the kids are disruptive, since it is a nicer signature spot. But the decision to bring them should be your choice based on how well behaved you think they can be in a "nice" restaurant. No matter what people may assume, with their glances, only you know if it is a good decision!

Nothing stuffy at all about Narcoossee's. We always see kids that age every time we eat there.

I understand the OP's concern. Most parents of young kids know about the "look" first hand. Some people, even if your kids are behaving, just can't handle sitting near children. I guess in many people's minds, kids will always be guilty, even when on their best behavior, not bothering anyone. We had 7:30 ADRs at Narcoossee's on our trip last month. We had our 2 month old and 2 year old daughters with us and we enjoyed our meal without incident or stress. They even made room around our table and let us bring our stroller in so the baby could sleep through the meal.

Honestly, I can't remember a time when we've gotten the "look" from other restaurant patrons at at any Disney restaurant like we do in the "real world". I think people who vacation at WDW simply assume that there are going to be kids everywhere and deal. Enjoy your anniversay dinner, OP...Narcoossee's is one of our favorites!!

I agree with the other poster who said this is the most casual restaurant at the GF. We saw babies to toddlers to elementary school aged last time we were there. You'll be fine.
