Narcoosee's or kona?

Hi all. I made adr for Narcoosee's on dp but is it really worth 2ts? Ds ans I could get 2 regular ts meals. From what I have been reading Kona Cafe sounds yummy. I wanted to be able to see water parade after dinner and fireworks. Is it a good location from Kona? I love the Poly but have never been to gf. Any thoughts would be appreciated. thx

I have never been to either one, but I have been to the GF Cafe and it was very impressive. Only 1 TS, as well. I have ADRs for GF Cafe and Kona Cafe for our July trip. Maybe GF Cafe is a good compromise for you.

I can help a little. Never been to Kona (for dinner, anyway) and we're not on the DP, so I don't know if Narcoossee's is worth those credits.
Narcoossee's is a good restaurant and the view from their outside deck is excellent. However, our last meal there had some food/service issues that we'd not encountered on previous trips.
Kona is inside the Poly and has no "view", but I imagine that once at the Poly you could find a spot to see the fireworks and the Boat parade.
I suspect there are others who have done exactly that and will soon respond!!

We love Kona. You can't see the water parade from the dining room, but it's a short walk to the beach and the food at Kona is YUMMY indeed.

I have stayed at the Poly and eaten at Kona 3X. Kona is very good. You have no view at Kona. The last time we ate their our waiter was very rushed and the service was not that good. But you can have that from anyplace you go. At at the Poly, if you walk over to the luau area, you can see the fireworks at night. I would vote for Kona as it is good food in a more casual atmostfere.
