Narcoosee's or Citricos

I am trying to choose between these two for my anniversary trip with my DW. Which would be better for a couple? Which has the better food? Better atmosphere? Any opinions would be welcomed. Also, I'm sure this topic has been posted before so if I am repeating this I apologize. And if someone has the link to the previous post I would appreciate it.

Have never eaten at Narcoose's, but Citrico's is wonderful. Great food, a very nice wine list and great service. You could not go wrong by going there.

The service at Citricos is unmatched anywhere in WDW (not counting V & A's, which is another story). It's far less crowded than Narcoossee's, there's less of a chance of seeing children - and did I mention the food? Outstanding.

We prefer Citrico's. The food is very good, nice wine list. The service is the part that really shines at Citrico's..it is fantastic.

We (DH and I) had trouble deciding between the 2 in Dec. We went to Narcoossee's after talking to a CM because we love seafood. I loved my salmon and liked that the restaurant was over the lagoon. We could see the castle. Our waiter was nice.

I've never been to Citrico's but judging from the responses here we'll have to try it.

We have eaten at Narcoosees several times over the years and always have had great meals. The view of the lagoon is nice and it's fun to walk through the GF with all the twinkly lights. However, it can be a noisy restaurant at times, filled with young children. If you want a romantic anniversary dinner, it would not be my first choice.

We haven't eaten at Citricos yet, but plan to on our next trip.

Sorry to be the lone dissenter, but we think Citricos is overrated. We ate there the first year it opened and had great service, but very average food. We stayed away until July and once again had great service, but this time, less than average food. On a Friday night after 7:30, there were about five other tables seated.

Narcoossee's on the other hand is wodnerful. The food is great and the service is wonderful.

I've eaten at both half a dozen times each in the past two years or so. Citrico's SHINES above Narcooses. It's more romantic, food is about the same or better, and the service is MUCH better than Narcooses, where I've had a few service issues, including one that has kept me from returning for almost a year. It's also quieter and less kids.

That one is a no brainer. Citrico's is the place to dine.
