Our youngest is 2 and in nappies.

We've never travelled this far with the kids before and I'm wondering what to do about the nappy situation.

We'll need a two week supply and they're really bulky, what's the best way to pack them? In the case with the clothes or elsewhere?

What about the weight of them? Will the airport staff take the extra luggage weight into account?

Thanks in advance! :sunny:

Take what you need for the jorney and the first night then buy more out there :D

hi

i always take what i need and unpack them from the bag/box and lay them flat in a layer over the clothes or towels, it seems less bulky that way

I have taken both mine when in nappies (one still is) and only take enough for the flight and a few spares in the case. Just buy a jumbo box from the supermarket when you are there. They do a box of 96 which is just about right for a two week holiday. They have the same brands...Huggies, Pampers, or supermarket own brands if you prefer.

Also, if you run out at the parks, you can buy mini packs from the Baby Centers. I cant reccomend these places highly enough for people travelling with nappy age kids!! Its an Oasis in the desert for overwraught parent and stroppy toddlers!

Can't help with the nappy question, just wanted to confirm what wonderful places the Baby Centres are! DD (then aged about 12, so not a baby at all) and I ended up in the one in Epcot on NYE when she had a sore throat, as the Medical Centre said we would be able to buy some lozenges in there.

I couldn't believe the calm and serenity that flooded over us as we walked through the door! I almost wished I had a baby or two to change just to stay in there a while! Now, if only they'd rename them 'Baby and persons in need of a quiet 5 minutes Centres', I'd be happy! ;)

Thanks Hilary, this could possibly be the best tip yet LOL! ;)
