I may be the only one here who admits to it but this movie gets funnier every time we watch it. The first time I saw it, I thought it was just stupid. But the second time, it started to grow on me.

Now we watch it often at home and have watched it a couple of times at the fire station. My entire station loves it.

Any other fans of Napoleon, Kip, Pedro, and Uncle Rico?

I agree with OP - it is funnier the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, (etc) time around.

Me neither, but I have seen seen Oh Brother Where Art Thou with my DH rolling on the floor the entire movie as I just sat staring at him. It was not that funny to me. He and our 13 yo think Napoleon and Oh Brother are 2 of the funniest movies ever. They won't let me watch Napoleon, they say I won't get it either.

I've never seen Napoleon Dynamite ..... but after reading this thread, it is now in my Netflix queue!! Gotta love the Netflix!!

I haven't seen it..but my kids quote it all the time. Usually when I ask them to do something and they give me what I think is some smart *** answer ..and I'm looking at them like..WTH are you talkin' about then they tell me it's that STUPID movie again!...
Ya think I wouldn have watched it already ..but I haven't. I"ll wait for Deb's review then decide.

For you guys who have not seen it, don't expect some intense movie with deep hidden meaning. It is just fun. The characters are not dynamic by any means. No action, no intense plot line. Be sure to get the DVD with the extras that has the original black and white version that was done for a college film project and watch it after the movie. It's great.

Definitely a funny movie. DW absolutely hates it, thinks it's the stupidest movie in the world and won't watch it.

I first saw it at a lock-in with my son's scout troop. I think they put it on about 3am.

Wow they really played that movie there, Well i think that movies is great, mother doesn't know what she's missing out on. But i guess that's like me hating Willy Wonka, Both movies.

When I first watched ND, I didn't get it. I thought it was THE stupidest movie I'd ever watched!!! Then I watched it again at my cousins house and thought it was HILARIOUS!! Go figure!

FYI... I don't know if it's all Wal-Marts, but I bought it last night for $4.
