I had the pork chop on Saturday, and it was amazing. Super spicy though, and now that I see the description, I realize it makes no mention of the sliced serrano peppers in the pork chop crust.

DH & I ate there last Wednesday (has it really been almost a week?:sad::sad:) It was all amazing, but the pumpkin pecan butterscotch bundt cake with the pumpkin ice cream was EXTRA amazing!

Before our first course arrived, we were brought little glasses of warm apple cider. It had finely grated pieces of green apple floating on top in a vanilla froth. I'm not sure if everybody got it that night or if it was just something they were giving those at the Chef's Counter, but oh, I wish I had that recipe right now, as it's supposed to get down to 5 degrees here tonight!! :scared1:

It's interesting that on this menu the Smiling Tiger Salad is simply referred to as Asian Green Salad. Last week it was still Smiling Tiger. Oh, I could go for some of that spicy goodness right now too.

We ate there 2 weeks ago, and had the Vitners(?). Well actually my husband and our friend had it, his wife and I just had soups and a salad and tried some of theirs. (I know that might be unacceptable) Everything was delicious and we were all brought a special little appetizer (compliments of the chef) which was delicious. I don't if we got it since they ordered the Vitners or not but we enjoyed it very much. Then at the end of our dinner both of us ladies were given a box of 4 truffles that had Napa written on the box, which was compliments of our waiter. We felt like they spoiled us a little more than usual, but again we have done the Vitners so that might have been why but it was a great dinner, even if we were feeling under the weather.

I'll take the pumpkin dessert..I wonder if you can just go in for dessert...

The pumpkin bundt cake was on the lounge menu as well. I don't see any reason you couldn't sit in there & have just dessert.

Yes, you can go to the Lounge and just have dessert - or appetizers, drinks, and dessert if you want to.

oom the food looks awesome~! i can't wait to try menu and maybe even sit at the lounge!!

We went last week.. just order one of everythign! LOL! seriously, we had a handful of appetizers so we could all have tastes and they were amazing! Dinner was great too... this is so worth it and I dream about it after we leave for weeks!

I made reservations for the Chef's Counter at the Napa Rose last week for our February trip. Cant wait!:cool1:

The Winter menu is up on Allears - pretty similar to the one above, though most of the entrees are different.
