Hi, I’m looking at booking 4 seats for Napa Rose chefs counter, for our trip in September.
can anyone tell me how far in advance I can book this and do I need to ring the hotel directly? Also what time does the sitting now start?

I’ve been to Napa Rose chefs counter numerous times, but not sure of the current procedure, times and days. Thanks.

You do need to call Napa Rose directly (714) 300-7170 to book your reservation.
We have been able to request seats, if our seat choice is available.

My DGD is going in October. My notes have the booking calendar for October opening on August 1st.

You can call and confirm they haven't changed their scheduling routine.
For a September reservation you should be able to call right on July 1st for the entire month of September.

This is the email I have also used in the past napa.rose@disney.com but I usually call to be sure.

Good Luck

I’d like to bump this thread as I’m also hoping to do the same as the OP here for a night in September, and preemptively looking into what it takes to book this particular experience.

I’d like to do this on the Saturday we drive down, but it isn’t super clear what time the seatings are - our hotel check in wouldn’t be until 4:00 at the earliest, and I’d like to be able to dress nicely for it, so I wouldn’t want to have to be there exactly at 5:00! That’s too close for my liking for something so expensive. Anyone who has done this recently, do you know how the seatings work currently? Based on what info I was able to gather, there is only 1 seating per night now instead of 2, with it only being available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It sounds like there are only 12 seats available, (Edit) 3 sets of four seats, 2 sets facing the main kitchen at different angles and 1 set facing the dessert prep. Much more exclusive, and harder to get as a result. Does anyone know what time that single seating is for? Do you get to choose when you make the booking? Could I ask to be seated at 7:00?

Also, I understand we should call in on the first of the month directly to the restaurant, and leave a message to have them get back to us. But is that first thing in the morning? Once the restaurant opens? I’d like to maximize my chances but I don’t want to make life harder for the staff there.
If anyone has insight into the current procedures that worked for them I would be much obliged! There’s surprisingly not a large amount of info about this experience out there, and of course COVID changes have made so many things different.

It sounds like there are only 12 seats available, half facing the main kitchen and half facing the dessert counter. Much more exclusive, and harder to get as a result. For the most current details give Napa Rose a call.

I found an old thread I started in 2017 for Napa Rose Chef's Counter seating.
If things have not changed seating wise, it might give you an idea of seating zones as you read through the posts.
