We'll be arriving to OKW in Sep at around 9:30am. I understand that we probably won't be able to check-in until about 4pm. My two boys are 2 and 3, and the youngest still loves his naps, so I'm guessing he still will in a few months. How have others dealt with the situation of not having a room on the first day for naps? Did you just power through at the parks until the room was ready? Find a quiet place (?) to relax?

You may want to go to a park and have him sleep in the stroller for his nap. Make sure you have a comfy stroller and it shouldn't be a problem- they are so exhausted that they will fall asleep eventually. It may not be at their predictable naptime, though, so you'll have to be flexible.
