Has anyone ever experienced a problem with the names on the reservations? Last year when I made reservations, they misspelled my daughter's name on the reservations and I had to call them to get it corrected. Shouldn't it have been listed on any previous trips we had taken?
This year, I called and made reservations for our family and their friends, and again, they misspelled names. They listed my daughter as Brintaly. Her name is Brittany, and again, can't they look up past trips? They misspelled my daughter's friend's last name, but I can overlook that as it isn't a common name. Then they also misspelled by nephew's name. His name is Alexander and they listed him as Alanvander. Alanvander? The cast member on the other end of the phone when I called to correct them had to laugh at how badly the previous cast member had screwed up the names.
Has anyone else experienced this? It really isn't an issue for me as I have it corrected now, but I find it amusing that I have this issue, what seems like, every year. I'm not complaining, just find it funny and wonder if I'm the only one that seems to have this issue. :confused3:rotfl:

i sometimes get the feeling the call centers are not in the US.
I called last week, got a great friendly lady. Her english was hard to understand, however she did a great job getting everything i needed done.

So if the call centers aren't in the us, common american names aren't the same as ones in other countries...but this is a guess whether the call centers are in the states.

You can now make your own online reservation and you don't have to worry about MS making a mistake. You can also review the reservation names online to check for correctness before checking in.

The current software release that Disney is using appears to change the order of the names listed. The first name entered becomes the last name listed. Not an issue unless you want a certain person to be the lead name on the reservation.

As far as I know, all DVC operations are in Celebration Florida 102,000 sq foot headquarters that they built a couple of years ago. They do have CM's from all over the world working there to speak to owners in their native languages but they also have to speak to all owners.
