Names on Reservation?

Hi,

When they send the printed reservation, is it normal to include only the name of the DVC member, and not the other names that were given, when the reservation was made?

I am wondering if I need to call, and ask them to add my Brother's name to the reservation.
I did put his name on the reservation when it was made, but then when I got the reservation in the mail, it had only my name on it.

If my brother arrives, without me, will he be able to get in the gate (at Saratoga Springs) without his name on the printed reservation?

Thank you
- Eileen

They should let him in the gate, but he won't be able to check-in unless his name is listed.

If there's a chance that he could arrive before you, call back and make sure he's on the ressie. And don't forget to make sure he knows how to handle the check-in process (i.e. you can only attach ONE credit card to the reservation for charging privileges.)

That's something I hadn't thought about. We are going to be in a similar situation in October. I called MS and had them put the other couple that will be staying with us on the ressie, but would prefer to have our credit card on the room for charging privileges. Will the CM's let our friends check in without giving a credit card?

I had a similar situation this last January. I had made ressies for 3 different rooms, one of which was in my brother's name. When we got our confirmation letter they were all in our name. When we checked in, however, the one room was listed in his name. It was also at the guard gate as he checked in later than we did and they had his name on the list.
