In October, I booked a studio at the BWV for my friend and her family (4 adults total) and my daughter (18) and I will be staying at AKV. We will probably be renting cars and meeting up with each other at the resorts on occasion, so I was thinking that it might be a good idea to add her to my reservation and add me to her reservation. We would not be over occupancy on either room and that way, we should not have an issue at either resort's gate. Is there a limit to how many vehicles you can have on your reservation? My other question is, will there be questions raised if we show up with others in our car who are not on the reservation?? (Like, my daughter, or my friend's husband and sons?) Let me also add that this would only be for 2 nights, and it is also purely hypothetical at this point because I *really* want to avoid renting a car. I am just looking at some of our options.

They don’t care who is in what car. We have 3 currently and no one has said anything. Everyone is registered at the resort so that shouldn’t be an issue. Day guest are welcome too.

I think some answers depend on if your reservations are DVC or cash. If DVC, you are not charged for parking, if cash, you are. Also, if cash and you add an additional adult (over 2 per room), there is an approximately $35 additional adult charge per night. There is no problem if you show up with others in the car, I have family and friends in Orlando and they either visit me in their cars (they give my name and room # to the guard, never had issues at WL) or they are in our vehicle. It could be more difficult at BW since it is within walking distance to two parks and they tend to be stricter there.

Oops, yes, should have mentioned that these are all DVC reservations on points so there will be no extra adult charges and should not be any parking charges.

We’ve not had a problem at AKV w/ family members staying offsite parking their rental car at the resort to visit us there. The lots are large & AKV isn’t adjacent to any parks so you don’t have people trying to park in the lot to go to a park next door.
BWV are walkable to DHS & the one time I stayed there awhile back I remember getting a flyer warning us about its’ parking issues & that was before TSL & GE opened. If parking is still an issue there it might be worthwhile to add your name at BWV. I’m not sure how to do double registration w/ MDE though.
The other issue is pool use, if you want to all swim together at either resort’s pools, you’ll need to be registered there.
