Name your favorite "overlooked" attractions

TTA, of course, and the Hall of Presidents.

I instantly though of the TTA when I read the question and then I see all these votes for it. How come this ride is always empty???

The Voices of Liberty in The American Adventure! Wow, what beautiful singing!

DS9 loves the CoP. I'm inpressed that a 9yo is interested in stuff that happened 100 years ago and later. He gets a kick out of "saspirilla." :goodvibes

Renting a boat. We love to just chill and drive into DD or float past the old tree houses. I know it's not in the parks but I think many people overlook doing this. It's peaceful and yours alone to experience. We also like TTA - lol! :flower:

I may be pushing the definition a bit - but I LOVE just finding a shady spot with something to eat or munch on and people watching while I take a break and slow down. Too many people rush from one line to the next and don't really take the time to enjoy the atmosphere. And if you're patient, you're bound to find a family that would qualify as an entertaining 'attraction' sooner or later :rotfl:

we love COP & TTA too. Nice rest between rushing around.
such nice attractions.

I think this counts and I agree! :teeth: Though I am guilty of not doing this often enough.

I love TTA, COP and El Rio too!

Myst

Our first trip we thought TTA looked dumb (that's all it does?!). Our second trip we rode it so we could say we had ridden everything. Now we LOVE it!

In MGM right outside the sound attraction-where you exit the show- there are some booths you sit in and put headphones on and the lights dim and you hear a story about 'R.J" who is starting a new job- he gets to meet " M.M". We love this attraction we call it "getting a hair cut"- I have no idea the actual name, but if you ever have done it you know why- everyone piles out of the show right pass these booths- they don't know what they are missing!! :sunny:

In AK, the Discovery Island Trails. In MGM, the Street Performers are by far my favorite thing in MGM! In Epcot, I don't know if you'd consider the "American Adventure" overlooked, but it took us 19 trips before we bothered to see it. Now it's one of our favorites.

TTA is a respite for tired feet! I also plan on riding it this year before Space Mountain, so my ds7 can see what it's like and decide if he's ready...

One of my favorites which is no longer...Food Rocks. My boyfriend and I used to laugh so hard!

Now that I know I am not alone with TTA, I have to pass this info along. Last year for the fun of it, since we just bought a digital camera, when we went through space mountain and it gets very dark, my ds made a funny face and I took his picture. We did it a few times. We had such laughs at his face when we reviewed them.

Rio de Tiempo.

You wouldn't believe how many people I've talked to about WDW who've never even heard of it. I always do it closer to the end of the day because I think it's relaxing and soothing, plus the ride itself is very pretty, lots of great foliage. I like the "market" scene.

I also find that a lot of people have never heard of Maelstrom. I always tell them they're really missing out on a fun ride!

While we are on the subject of Norway, I would say that the movie after Maelstrom is an overlooked attraction and one that should be tried at least once. My family and I really enjoy it and think it is very well-done but like the ride, too short!
