name your 1 favorite alcoholic specialty drink

regarding the now famous lapu lapu, this drink is not a slushie is it?? does it taste like pineapple juice???

The Island Sunset at the Tambu Lounge, or the Magical Star cocktail, which is all over the property.

This just made me laugh! I am picturing myself walking past that station multiple times for the different slushies and wondering if it gets harder to locate the stand with each visit!!?!?:rotfl: ok, i guess i am going to have to start a list for the upcoming trip. i have only tried a margarita in epcot and clearly i need to branch out. i have never even had a martini and i truly don't know what a cosmo is either. we tend to drink wine or margaritas. sounds kind of boring! thank you to everyone who replied. i am pretty psyched to start making this list!

i think if you like margaritas and wine you will also like a cosmo. its vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice and one other ingredient (i can never remember) but tastes way better than a plain vodka cranberry you'd get a bar. sweet and fruity without being over the top. REALLY yummy. the red cosmo slushy from france at food and wine fest was the most delicious drink ever!

the grand marnier slush - is that the orange one? i keep seeing photos of it in the food picture thread and it looks soooo good.

what about the "orbiting oreos" one at sci fi? it's a cookies n cream milkshake with godiva chocolate liquor. that sounds pretty darn yummy.

The Lapu Lapu is not a slushie. Actually, it is heaven...sheer heaven in a pineapple! It is a mixture of alcohol and fruit juices, yes there is definitely a pineapple influence but that's not the only flavor. The first sip is more like a grenade going down...quite heavy on the alcohol. But as you work your way down the drink the fruit flavors really shine through. Trust me when I say one of these is enough to do you for the night! :rotfl:

Then there are the pineapple fanatics like me who take the straw and start frantically scraping it down the inside of the pineapple cup to shave off even more of the alcohol-soaked pineapple deliciousness and shovel it in our mouths. :rolleyes1

This next trip I am going to have to try a Pina Colava. I have heard so much about them, they sound heavenly.

What is in a Pina Colava? Is it like a Pina Colada?

Has anyone had the Caribbean Smuggler? it sounds yum!

Margarita in Mexico has always been my staple for 20 years... Now, Grand Marnier Orange Slushies and The Grey Goose Lemon Slush are out of this world!!!

I will go with the Grey Goose Slushie.

Kae

Grey Goose slushie, counting the days before I get another one.

Would a top three list work?

1) Grey Goose Slushie
2) Backscratcher
3) Pina Colava

Grey Goose Slushie for sure!!

Hands down Grey Goose slush! :worship:

Put me in the Grey Goose Slushie group and hand me my drink, please. :dancer:

I had a Welsh Dragon for the first time last Sept. I will definitely go back to the Rose & Crown for another one next trip. I usually go for rum drinks but this was great.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
