Name removed TOOK MY STUFF!

My sister was trading with <name removed>for his stitch hat. He said he would give it to her on the second trade of three. She gave him LOTS of good stuff on the first trade, and then got disconnected before they could complete the second. We found him again when she got back on, even though he deleted us from his friend list. He booted her from his room, and me too since he knew who I was. We have reported him, and this thread isn't for sympathy (though that's welcome ) Just, if you see <name removed> please report him! She lost a lot of costumes and rare. And, he PROMISED it would be ok! I mean, how mean is that?

I Know You Are Trying To Protect Others, But I Did Once Before As Well And You Can't Post Names On The Dis Boards Like That. Also This Is Considered Flamming Another Person, So The Title Of This Person Will Most Likely Be Removed Like What Happened When I Posted Names A While Back

I Do Not Know What Staff Would Do In This Situation, Because They Have And Always Have Warned Us About These Trades. You Should Not Press Accept If You Are Unsure Of The Trade.

Omg i had the same person try to do that to me yesterday. He said he was only accepting full room offers and told me to put in my stuff first then he would add the stitch hat and i said no way and boot him

Also never go into a trade with someone, even if you know them well, that requires multi trade windows.

It almost always is a scam.

If this is the only way a trade can be done then try to get a trusted third person to hold the item if possible.

As Mal said, if you ever are going into a trade with more items than can fit into one window - find a staff or CL that will help you with the trade. Although you can never be sure if that CL_ is friends with the other person, I have done with twice (once a CL_ of my choice and once a CL_ of the other person's choice) and both times it went well.

I did not understand what this meant the first time I did this so I thought I would explain a bit more for you in case (like me) it did not make sense.

When a third person helps in the trade:
1. Each person states what they are trading to the other in the presence of the third person. This person should write down the items invovled.

2. Each person gives their items to the 3rd party.

3. Once the third party has all items involved, the 3rd party trades the correct items with each person.

Of course, if you can keep a trade to one window (15 items per side) - that is best.

As stated before, it's against the rules to post the names of people on the DIS. I would suggest that you remove his name before Mal has to.
