Name on Two Reservations

Can I have my name on two reservations at once? Specifically, my family is staying at BLT and my brother will be at Yacht Club. Can I put my brother's name on our reservation so he can use the BLT pool, and can he then put our names on the Yacht Club reservation so that we can use SAB? The room capacities would not be exceeded for either room.

Can I do this?

you can definitely put your name on the BLT part.

is the yacht club thru dvc or cro - if cro there might be a problem - but you don't know until he tries.

there was a time when you could only be on one reservation - this was never a DVC policy - just the regular wdw hotels.

The BLT is DVC, the Yacht club reservation is through Disney.

If a CM notices, they may tell you that it can't be done. If you book DVC online, the system doesn't care.

If you link both stays to your MDE account, then you will probably have trouble with your magic bands. Your band will only be able to open the door on one room, and I'm not sure how it decides which one to work on. Based on that, I don't know that the bands will work for pool access. They will likely only recognize one resort reservation.

So, yes, it's possible to put your name on two rooms, but I doubt it will have the effect you desire.

Yes, but separate MDE accounts and separate bands. Add your brother to your BLT room, add on MDE but do not link to his account. Same with your brother. You'll have 2 separate bands. The BLT one for room and tickets, the YC one for just room and pool access.

This is exactly what I was thinking would work. Has anyone ever actually done this?
