Nails on a Chalkboard.

the sound of styrofoam (sp.) when people touch it it gives me the chills
ughhh i get them just thinking about it haha

Does the sound of nails on a chalkboard freak you out?
What other sounds freak you out?

--------------------------

Nails on a chalkboard don't freak me out. Metal scraping metal, teeth rubbing each other, loud gulping, and a car going over the rumble strips on the side of the highway are noises that freak me out. Ugh, they just make me shiver, it's gross. :scared1:

i dont like it either! it gives me the biggest chills.

i am incredibly sensitive to sound. i have amazing hearing. (i can hear fluorescent lights buzz in another room.)

that being true, i've grown to where i can tolerate most sounds (because if i couldn't, my life would suck)

but the sounds of styrofoam or cardboard being cut, and people biting flatware make me cringe.

high pitched sounds(metal hitting metal, bat sonar, that mosquito ringtone) hurt me, but they don't upset me like tearing styrofoam.

I can't stand the sound of fingernails on school trousers, or trousers in a similar material. It goes through me. xD
The sound of motorbikes petrifies me (after a few run ins with them xD)
The sound of squeaky brakes and large vehicles coming scares me as well.
I think the last ones have more to do with riding my pony on roads with complete nutters and being more scared of the objects than the actual sounds.

Nails on a chalkboard sends shivers up my spine, but the worst for me is when someone who is cutting meat with a fork and knife and the fork goes across the plate.

I hate nails scratching skin, especially if it's dry. I also hate teeth touching teeth...especially if they just accidently touch and you aren't prepared for it.
:scared:
rap is not music it is poetry...it seriously is just talking while rhyming and maybe a little beat(which is what poetry is)

All songs are poems, basically. But I agree...rap isn't music.

high pitched sounds don't hurt me either. Sometimes I think people who hear those noises, just say "OOOOOW!" to make it seem like they're cool.

I hate when teachers write on a chalkboard using chalk. That really annoys me! Even when I scratch something with my nails. Ahh!

The sharpk metal edge of an eraser holder on a pencil scraping paper.
Styrofoam rubbing together.
